How we started

Lucas Construction Company was incorporated in 1988 by Willis M. Lucas. As the President of this Texas corporation Willis had a vision to serve the Texas Gulf Coast area with expertise and dependable service. Only five years later in 1993 his son, Ryan Lucas joined his father and now serves as the Vice President. Both officers play a  "hands-on" management role and visit the jobsites on a daily bases.

Safety

Together Willis and Ryan have also created a safe working enviornment at Lucas Construction. We are proud to say we are below the national average for accidents and injuries in the construction industry. In order to do this they crated a powerful safety program which revolves around planning, communicating, observing and improving. Mandatory safe work videos are viewed by each employee before entering the job sites. They also provide weekly safety meetings which are held with superintendents, foremen and workmen. Lucas Construction Company logs approximately 162,000 manhours of work each year.
